OWB Taco Holster for Glock 17 / 47 Gen 5 — Fits Streamlight TLR-1 HL

This outside-waistband (OWB) taco-style holster is precision-formed for Glock 17 and 47 Gen 5, Gen 6 and Gen V pistols paired with the Streamlight TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP weapon-mounted light. Designed for reliable light-retention and fast reholstering, the holster uses the light as the retention point—so the TLR-1 HL or HP must be mounted for proper fit and function.

This holster will not work with the TLR-1 HL-X or TLR-1 HP-X light.

Compatibility & Fit Notes

• Primary fit: Glock 17 Gen 5, 6 & V & Glock 47 Gen 5 with Streamlight TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP.
• Partial fits: Glock 19 Gen 5, 19X, and 45 Gen 5 — may require additional muzzle room; expect reduced concealability.
• Not compatible: Glock 22 or 23 Gen 5 with TLR-1 / TLR-1 HL / TLR-1 HP (select the Gen 3 & 4 variant for Glock 22/23 compatibility).
• Gen 3 & 4 variant: Select this variant for Glock 17 & 22 Gen 3/4, and for Glock 34 Gen 4 fits with the TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP

Every holster is vacuum-formed from a CAD-derived, precision-machined mold to match the actual firearm and light combination. Forming, trimming, folding, and final quality checks are completed in-house. Each unit is test-fit on the actual pistol and light to ensure consistent retention and draw characteristics.

Care & Mounting Notes

We strongly recommend applying a removable thread locker to each holster screw after installation to prevent screw loosening during use. Retention can be adjusted with the set screw(s) to match your preferred draw tension.

Will this holster fit my Glock with the TLR-1 HL?

The holster is made specifically for Glock 17 and 47 Gen 5 pistols with the Streamlight TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP. For other models, consult the compatibility notes above—some Gen 5 models are partial fits and Gen 3/4 models require the Gen 3/4 variant.

Does the holster retain the pistol or the light?

Retention is provided by the Streamlight TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP mounted to the pistol. The holster will not retain the firearm unless the TLR-1 HL (or compatible light) is installed.

Is the holster optic-ready?

Yes — the holster profile is cut to allow most red dot sights. If you have a large-height overhanging optic, check the listed fit notes or contact us for fit confirmation.

How do I adjust retention?

Retention is adjustable via the set screw(s) on the holster. Turn incrementally and test the draw/re-holster action until the retention matches your preference. Apply removable thread locker to screws after adjustment to prevent loosening.

Yes — high sweat guard is standard. Medium and low heights are available upon request; please choose the variant when ordering.
